Of Bridge and Beavers!

After Christmas, we drove to Oregon to visit Julie's family. Our intent was to go to Central Oregon, but due to major snow in the pass, we opted to stay around Corvallis and relax. These days were filled with a visit to Grandma, evenings learning Bridge and the Beaver Football game! They won the Emerald Bowl game and we were glad to see it! The week flew by and we returned home deciding that shortbread cookies and anything with lots of sugar and butter were now off limits!

Holidays 2007

Christmas this year found us spending the morning together at home in Everett. Christmas Eve we had the joy of seeing our niece and nephew in the church play. For us, going to church made Christmas feel more like Christmas. The next morning we had a restful morning at our condo and then went to Alison's house for Christmas day with Joyce and the Wycoffs. To top off the day it was a white Christmas! Snow started falling as we drove to the Wycoff's house and it continued to fall (and not really stick) the entire day. Randy could not help but sing the lyrics to Bing's famous song....
