Birthday Trike

A little early, the UPS man delivered a trike which required "some assembly".   The hardest part of the assembly was locating the tools to borrow.   Thankfully, we found the needed items and quickly assembled the trike.   This gift was no secret for the upcoming birthday girl as she saw the box with a trike photoed on its package as it came through the door.   Needless to say, it was a little challenge cranking down the screws and getting bolts lined up with a three-year-old climbing on the trike as it materialized!  
Today's outing was selecting a helmet.   At first the winner was a ladybug helmet, but once the Disney princess helmet was discovered, there was no turning back.   Disney markets well to children!   So her helmet is purple with several of Disney's finest on the side.
We discovered the perfect track for triking behind our apartment.   The walking path winds nicely and connects into a wavy track in a flowing continuous path.   Only the turtles were out this morning!
