The season of working hard to learn music and motions for the Christmas program ended in success last night. We weren't sure Sabrina would sing, but discovered not only did she sing, but she had great motions during the songs. She swayed, pointed her finger and did sign language like a seasoned performer. No evidence of stage fright!
One teacher literally made all the white robes in a day for the performance as it was a last minute idea. We thought they looked so festive. While in the robes, they sang "Go Tell it on the Mountain." and "Mary Had a Baby".
"Jingle Bells" and "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" were the finale songs. Bells were used for the first song. Hand gestures and actions were used for the second. We noted Sabrina really loved wagging her finger and singing "Now bring us some figgy pudding!" However, one girl stomped her feet on the stage and really looked like she had done this before.
