Last minute trip to Charleston

We have been wanting to go visit Charleston and see our friends in Charleston, but have been having a few hurdles to making a Sunday trip.   Last weekend we accessed, after discovering Randy's work schedule and Seahawk game time, that Sunday again would not work for us.   Instead virtually at the last minute, we decided to take a day trip to our old home city.   Unfortunately we were so last minute in our planning that we did not have opportunity to meet with friends.   Nonetheless, it was a trip well spent.
Upon entering Charleston, we felt at home.   We knew where we were and where to go.    First things first, we started our visit eating at 82 Queen.   They have the best salads there!   We have never been disappointed!   Next, we walked around, peering into art galleries on Broad Street.   One gallery featured Dutch painters.   One painting as big as a post card was priced at $1500.   We decided to take Sabrina's hand and not linger too long.
It was a short trip.   More time was spent driving up and back than we actually spent in the city, but it fed a desire to go back and soon as we can, we will.
