Wednesday, we took Grandma Judy and Papa to the Savannah Wildlife Refuge. Most of the birds were in hiding. We mainly saw red winged blackbirds, grackles (also black) and a few white egrets. Near the end of the drive we saw the baby alligator (maybe 1 year or so--still has stripes to camouflage)
Then to our amusement we kept on seeing large gators swimming up the muddy river. Papa and Sabrina made up a story that the alligators were going to a birthday party. When one would swim to the river bank, it was said that he forgot his gift and had to go get something! Lots of giggles!
