Once in Savannah, we found ourselves strolling in the squares, reading the historical plaques. In Reynolds square was a statue of John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist Church. We also saw historical monuments dedicated to Washington, and a general from the Revolutionary War. Our adventure led us to Ellis Square and the City Market.
At Ellis Square was a statue of Johny Mercer who was legend in music, founding a record label. We also found a nice art gallery with some local artists displaying paintings, ceramics and jewelry.Monday, April 29, 2013
