Doc McStuffins

Tuesday evening after Randy returned from work, we took Sabrina to the Urgent Care.   I found it handy that we had watched a cartoon called Doc McStuffins ( a cartoon about a little girl who pretends to doctor her stuffed animals.)   We were able to explain what the doctor was doing and Sabrina appeared to be more receptive to having scopes used on her throat and ears.   She actually told me that she needed to go to the doctor to get better.   I am glad we are getting to a place where she is using words to communicate her pains and illnesses.   She even willingly takes bad tasting medicine as she understands in the end it will make her feel better.   Amazing kid!   Hope her ear infection goes away quickly!
