Yesterday we found it ironic that we are living in the "Peach State" yet we had a hard time finding a peach orchard near us. We ended up driving about 175 miles one way to find a place that would sell peaches. We asked if there was a u-pick peach orchard which there was was not. Regardless of the distance, we had a fun family day driving in a new area of Georgia. Crepe Myrtles are in full bloom everywhere. In the end we returned with a quarter flat of peaches and a watermelon from a fruit stand.
