Waved at Obama Family

This even after the thunder storms, we walked to the White House, Washington Monument, WWII Memorial and Lincoln Memorial. We took pictures in front of the White House and saw someone walk down the stairs. Then we quickly walked to Washington Monument which always impresses me with its height and simple design. The WWII Memorial was well done with fountains and wreaths. We found it to be done with great thought. From there we walked along the Reflecting Pond to Lincoln's Memorial where every middle school tour group was there. It reminded me of a middle school dance with all the talking and bodies everywhere! From there we walked through the Vietnam Memorial and then quickly back to the car before we got a parking ticket. Along the way, we saw fireflies! They were super to lighting the way.

Sabrina liked the evening adventure, but was tired and hungry when we returned.
