Gulfstream Family Fun Day

It is official:  Gulfstream can really throw a party!   Today was Family Fun Day and we were treated to a fun carnival, food and a tour of the buildings where Randy works.   Sabrina was so excited to climb up a King Kong slide and went down several times.

She was given her second fireman hat in one week and had a chance to pose with rescue equipment.

One of her favorite rides was on the carousel.   She chose a pretty horse and was all smiles.

All three of us took in the festivities from a ferris wheel.   From this angle we can see the rest of the carnival and food booths.

Some of the lines were long but worth the wait.

The carousel and slides in the distance.

For us who never are allowed in the Gulfstream buildings, today was a big day to see where all the action takes place.   No cameras were allowed in the building so we could only take photos of the outside.   The plant has several buildings with different steps of production housed in each building.    The line for this tour literally went back for about a mile.   Then we loaded a shuttle to the entrance of the tour.

Part of the tour line can be seen from here.   It amazes me how many components come together to build an airplane.
