Ft. Pulaski Candle Light Tour

The Candle Light Tour started in the visitor center with Christmas Carols accompanied by the guitar and flute.   The songs were vintage 1860s carols.

Sabrina made a friend.

The old flag fort.

Rooms were opened which are normally closed to the public.   The actors/ singers were dressed in costumes of the time frame of the Civil War.   This room had a small band that played an old Irish ballad and a love song.

Then next room had a nicely decorated tree, cookies and apple cider.

The last room was set as General Olmstead's family was having Christmas dinner.   All the photos were a little dark as it was candle light and we were asked to turn the flash off on the camera.

After watching cannons and guns fire at night, Sabrina sat on Santa's lap in the gift shop and told him she would like a teddy bear.   News to us!

Santa was cozy by the fire.

Her friend talks with Santa as our guide warms up.
