Lazy weekend and Disguising the Fort

Sunday was a lazy day.  All of napped...some longer than others but since all three of us crashed I would say it is much needed.

December 8th was Randy's mom's 80th birthday.  We chose this butterfly ornament to put on the tree in honor of her birthday.

Sunday was also the Second Sunday of Advent.

Twinkle lights were added to the columns.  Yeah twinkle lights!

Monday afternoon, Sabrina and I took on "Operation Disguise the Fort".   Her Refrigerator box fort was converted into our big tree...the door is still operational.

Our plan is to make ornaments for this tree once Randy gets home from work.

On the side of the fort is last year's tree that was decorated with stickers.   It continues to be decorated this year.  So in light of all our trees this year I think we are having a tree theme this year without a "real" tree.   Funny!
